Lawyers Without Rights
In partnership with the German Federal Bar, the Lawyers Without Rights project includes an exhibition and book, Lawyers Without Rights The Fate of Jewish Lawyers in Berlin after 1933

with ancillary programming. These materials document the plights of Jewish lawyers in Germany during the Third Reich, revealing how the rule of law was manipulated, redefined and distorted during this era and how Jewish lawyers were stripped of their power to protect it. The Nazis employed laws to deny German Jews their freedom and their lives. But more than a focus on a historic moment, the Lawyers Without Rights project eulogizes individual lawyers, preserving stories of their legal contributions, courage and resolve.
